What is the minimum down payment I need? How much will you finance?

If you're more experienced, we finance up to 95% of the purchase price + 100% of rehab costs, so you should have a 10% down payment. If you're just starting out, we finance up to 80-85% of the purchase price, so you should have a 20-25% down payment.

Is there a limit on the total amount I can borrow from CapStack Loans or a maximum number of loans?

No! We do not limit the number of loans or total dollars you have borrowed.

What credit score do I need to qualify?

We look for a minimum 660 FICO. A higher score can improve loan terms (more loan proceeds, better rate).

Do I need to prove my income or provide tax returns?

No, you won’t need to provide personal income documents (tax returns, paystubs etc ). Your credit history, down payment and the deal itself are what matter to us.

Typically, you’ll provide a loan application, credit authorization, bank statements (to show down payment funds), borrower entity documents, & property details (purchase contract, rehab budget, etc.) .

Can foreign nationals or overseas investors get a loan?
